These terms apply to journeys booked with Genuine Discoveries, a licensed private tour operator based in Marrakech, Morocco. Anything specific to your trip is set out in the itinerary and quotation we send you, which takes precedence over this page.
Sending a planning request does not create a booking. We reply with a proposed itinerary and price. A booking exists only once we have confirmed it to you in writing and any agreed deposit has been received.
Prices are quoted per person and depend on your dates, group size and chosen accommodation. Quotations remain valid for the period stated in your proposal.
Your written itinerary states exactly what is included — typically private transport, your guide, and the accommodation listed. International flights, travel insurance, visas, personal spending and anything described as optional are not included unless we say so.
Plans change, and we will always try to accommodate you. If you need to change or cancel, tell us as early as possible; the terms in your written confirmation apply, since deposits paid to riads and camps on your behalf may be non-refundable.
Very occasionally we may need to alter an itinerary for reasons outside our control — weather, road closures, or the safety of the group. We will always offer the closest reasonable alternative.
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering medical care, repatriation, cancellation and your belongings. For trekking itineraries, please make sure your policy covers walking at altitude.
Please make sure your passport, visas and vaccinations are in order, tell us about medical conditions, dietary needs or mobility requirements before travel, and follow your guide's instructions where safety is concerned.
We take great care in choosing the guides, drivers and accommodation we work with. We are not liable for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or by a traveller not following reasonable safety guidance. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Morocco.
